You might know Laura Belgray as one of the masterminds behind The Copy Cure – her signature program with Marie Forleo. Maybe you’re subscribed to her famous Talking Shrimp newsletter. Or maybe you’ve just heard her name floating about, often in response to questions like “Who’s your favorite copywriter?”

However, these days, Laura doesn’t call herself a copywriter – because she doesn’t offer her copywriting services anymore. In fact, she gave up $1450/hr client work so she could use her copy skills to create revenue for herself. 

Today, she runs a $1M one-person business*. And to top it all off, she recently broke into the national best-seller club (both on Amazon’s and Publisher’s Weekly’s lists) after publishing her book Tough Titties, in which she frequently talks about how lazy she is. Who’d have thought it?

*Laura clarifies, she’s only technically a one-person business. While she’s never had anyone on payroll, she works with a business manager, Sandra Booker – who, along with her own team at Any Old Task, have been critical to Laura’s success.
