Find the voice for your brand in minutes.

Finding your brand voice is tough for new businesses. It’s even tougher when your 10th grade English teacher’s voice echoes in the back of your head, reminding you to write “properly,” which gets you writing like this:

Dear esteemed customer, we are delighted to present to you, for your discerning consideration, our latest innovation in foot apparel, meticulously crafted from the finest fibers known to humankind and designed with both aesthetic elegance and unparalleled functionality in mind, this unparalleled pair of socks promises to envelop your pedal extremities in a cocoon of comfort hitherto unimagined, thereby elevating your daily ambulatory experience to new heights of luxurious satisfaction.

Chances are you’ve got an idea of what you want your brand to sound like. You may even have a brand or two in mind whose voice you admire. Use that inspiration to help you find your brand voice.

Here’s what to do: Prompt AI to analyze another company’s brand voice… and then rewrite some copy for you in that voice. This is just some of what GPT-4 created for me when I used the AI copywriting prompts I’m about to teach you:

Here’s how to use GPT-4 to get similar results for your business or client.

Step 1: Analyze the brand voice of another company you admire

The goal of Step 1 is to have AI understand the brand voice that you want to try out for your own company’s copy.

Turn on Browse with Bing in GPT-4 and then follow the prompts in “Brand voice guidelines taking too long to create? Use AI to generate brand voice guides fast.

When you’re done following those prompts, keep that chat open in GPT-4 and come back here to move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Prompt AI to rewrite your selected copy in the brand voice you analyzed in Step 1

Just as you did when you followed the prompts in “Brand voice guidelines taking too long to create? Use AI to generate brand voice guides fast.,” you’re going to set up GPT-4 with all the information it needs to give you the best possible response.

Continue in the same chat that you started in Step 1.

The first part of the prompt puts GPT-4 in the shoes of a conversion copywriter and brand voice expert.

I included part of Chris Silvestri’s prompt in this prompt because I want to remind GPT-4 of the role it’s taking on as both a conversion copywriter and brand voice expert.

Fill in the prompt as directed in the copyable prompt following the screenshot below.
